  • Matt’s love for health and fitness began as a kid growing up outside a small town in Wisconsin. As a child, he was always very active with outdoor activities and loved playing sports. It was in high school, competing in football, basketball, and baseball that Matt began to really take an interest in strength training and athletic conditioning. Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning. After graduation, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and moved to Denver to begin his career. Matt began working mostly with athletes as a high school strength and conditioning coach as well as for a private company that specialized in developing athletic strength, power, and speed. Matt also began working as a personal trainer during this time and transitioned into a full time personal trainer role in 2005. Missing the competition of sports, Matt began to get involved with other competitive activities. He competed in 4 Tough Mudder races and completed both his CrossFit Level 1 (2012) and Level 2 (2017) certifications. Matt’s desire to not only help his clientele look and feel better but to be able to help fix underlying biomechanical issues that they may have, led him to complete the Muscle Activation Technique Jump Start program in 2018. In 2022, Matt moved with his wife and daughter to Casper in order to be closer to family and to raise their daughter in a smaller town. Throughout his 20 years of training, Matt has worked with hundreds of individuals of all ages, from elite athletes to people walking into the gym for the first time. Matt understands that changing habits and pushing yourself to be the best person you can be is not always easy, but through discipline, details, and determination anything is possible.
